What is nithya Puja?
Sanskrit mean for puja is worship or adore . The Performing of every day puja is called as Daily Puja or Nitya puja .It's shows that we thanks to the Bhagwan for giving blessing us with this love and human life . It is a subtle act.
Why Daily puja performing morning time?
Usually Daily puja performed in morning. Because it is auspicious to perform Puja and any sacred activity performed.During morning and inspires us to be in a meditative state. Vedas says, God bodies will be more receptive to prayers. During these hours are more fruitful.
Preparing for Daily Puja by yourself:
To prepare your body and mind before starting Puja. It is important for one. Before a puja day , to keep your clothes separately ready for dried and soaked.
when performing Puja wear only these clothes. As you follow a certain dress code for puja, like dhoti and shawl for male and traditional sarees for female. During Puja it will invoke noble thoughts .
Performing Worship or Daily puja:
Usually, will have a separate place to perform Puja in every home.
- Sitting on a mat facing North or East.
- First, By sprinkling few drops of water,you will clean the place.To wipe the idols, using a separate cloth .Later on apply Kumkum to idols.
- Light the lamps and ensure that you are placing two deepams on either side of the mandapam one facing North (for a god) or another facing east (towards sun).
- Vedas give more importance to Guru than the God. you will begin with Ganesha stotra by Guru Stuthi.
- You will decorate the God with flowers. After worshiping with shlokas.
- By lighting camphor and performing aarti, finally, you will end Puja
